Welcoming Dr. Diana Fisher to Eye Associates of Winter Park!
At Eye Associates of Winter Park, carrying on our legacy means committing to the highest level of care available in our field. We have spent most of this year hand-selecting the next great addition to our team—a provider who not only meets that standard, but elevates it. Today, it is our absolute honor to officially welcome Dr. Diana Fisher to our practice and our Winter Park community.
Dr. Fisher arrives with a devoted patient following from Indiana and a wealth of clinical knowledge. With over 30 years in the medical field—including more than 18 years dedicated specifically to conditions of the eye and face—she brings an exceptional level of skill, passion, and personal empathy to our practice.
A Personal Passion for Vision
For Dr. Fisher, eye care is deeply personal. Having navigated her own eye health issues since childhood, she understands firsthand the profound impact vision has on daily quality of life. That lifelong perspective drives her dedication to walking alongside her patients and helping them achieve optimal eye health.
Her healthcare journey began in nursing, earning her Registered Nurse degree in 1992 from Indiana State University and serving as a peripheral vascular intensive care nurse at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Driven to expand her care, she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in 2004, graduating with honors as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa.
Pioneering Advanced Dry Eye & Ocular-Facial Treatments
Dr. Fisher is a board-certified optometrist who, for the past two decades, has specialized in refractive surgery co-management and the treatment of dry eye and related conditions.
We are especially excited to have Dr. Fisher collaborating on our advanced dry eye cases. Dry eye diagnosis and management have evolved significantly, and Dr. Fisher utilizes the latest therapeutic technologies to deliver lasting relief:
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy: Addressing chronic inflammation and underlying vascular causes of dry eye and facial skin conditions.
Radiofrequency (RF) & Dynamic Muscle Stimulation: Restoring function and balance to the structures surrounding the eyes and face.
Aesthetic & Regenerative Care: Certified through the National Laser Institute in neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid fillers, and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections to address comprehensive eye and facial aesthetics.
Compassion Beyond the Clinic
Dr. Fisher’s dedication to care spans globally. She has participated in international eye care mission trips to Mexico, Haiti, and Uganda, notably leading the Elite LASIK and Cataract team to St. Ard Hospital in Haiti in 2017. She is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and served on the gala committee for the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation.
Outside the office, Dr. Fisher enjoys spending time with her husband, four daughters, and six grandchildren, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
